The Sweet Spot by Stephanie Evanovich is the story we have all been waiting for since the wonderful story of Holly and Logan in Big Girl Panties. We now get to see how Logan's bestie Chase met and fell in love with his now wife Amanda.
Amanda is a poised, successful woman with a hangup about things being too good - once you hit perfect something bad's gonna happen. Chase is a hero of the baseball superstar variety. When he meets Amanda he is drawn to her inexplicable in a way that has never happened to him before.
Chase realizes that Amanda likes to push his buttons and only his buttons but she is also keeping him at arms length. She is refusing his advances - ALL of his advances and he just won't quit. All bets are off for manda once he finally breaks down her walls though.
A beautifully funny, slightly dramatic, tale of meeting and falling in love with a brief cameo from Logan.
I'm excited to read more from Stephanie Evanovich in the (hopefully) near future.

Stephanie Evanovich is a full-fledged Jersey girl from Asbury Park who began writing fiction while waiting for her cues during countless community theater projects. She attended New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts and acted in several improvisational troupes and a few small-budget movies, all in preparation for the greatest job she ever had, raising her two sons.
