Bastard Bachelor Society by Sara Ney is the first book in her brand new The Bachelors Club series. Told in mostly dual POV we do also get a couple of hilarious chapters from Duchess Desdemona. Abbott is a quirky young executive with a chip on her shoulder to prove that she deserves her position at work and wasn't given it due to nepotism and last names. Brooks is the neighbor across the hall that is determined to be a bachelor but truly all he wants is to find true love - he just has zero clue about that fact. This was a funny, slow build, neighbors to friends to lovers tale with some laugh out loud moments - some cringe-worthy dude/bro moments - and some redeeming realizations (by the dudes) that perhaps they weren't 100% correct after all. Abbott's Nan is also a hilarious factor in the tale. Enjoy!
