Ashton Scott by Nina Levine is a standalone contemporary romance set in the business world of Sydney, Australia. Lorelei is a confident, competent business woman with a desire to make the world a better place and using her business acumen to do so. Ashton is an arrogant man who is as successful as he is commanding, he wants what Lorelei has and will do whatever it takes to get it. What he is NOT ready for is the level of emotion she causes him to feel.
Lorelei is being badgered to sell her Willow Street properties, first by the Ashton's father and then by the arrogant SOB Ashton Scott himself. What takes her by surprise is the instant attraction to him that is burning her up alongside the fury he incites with his cocky attitude. She was doing just fine before he came along and she can continue doing fine without him. But when he makes a proposition she cannot refuse she realizes he isn't just an arrogant a-hole, he is a compassionate and caring man who is head over heels for her.
The second Ashton Scott lays eyes on Lorelei he is done for. She is everything he never knew he needed in a woman and he will do everything he can to make her his. If only he can learn that business can never be kept separate from pleasure when you are in bed with your partner.
Well-written and well-paced, this was a steamy story that focused on the story of Lorelei and Ashton but also had a well-rounded balance of time with the secondary characters. Enjoy!
