Coco: My Delicious Life by Kyla May
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Coco: My Delicious Life by Kyla May is the second book in the Lotus Lane children's book series. Each book centers around a different member of the Lotus Lane Girls club. The book is wrote as if it IS the journal of Coco. She tells us about herself , her family and her friends. Her parents gave her the diary as a present when her painting of her chihuahua, Evie, won the 'most lifelike' award at the school art fair.
The book is charmingly decorated with doodles and diagrams and is a very fun read.

The Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten by Maureen Fergus
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
You can find this review at My Favorite Things
The Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten by Maureen Fergus is a cute tale about how much of an utter fail a mother's visit to her daughters kindergarten class is. We may have been through kindergarten ourselves when we were young, but it's a much different, much tinier world with rules and ways of doing things that we have forgotten as adults. Very cute.
