Review: The Arrangement 10

The Arrangement 10 by H.M. Ward is the tenth (duh!) volume in The Arrangement series.

We were left hanging in The Arrangement 9, desperately trying to guess WHO was Sexting with Avery. Will Avery actually ask Sean to marry her? He knows she was going to, he has seen the ring, but now what...?

In this book we do find out who was pretending to be Sean and sexting with Avery. We are still in the same time frame as Damaged 2 and we get to see Sean after he returns from confronting Dean with Peter (If you haven't read Damaged 2 by now you should have...).

It's so hard to say anything about the book without giving away spoilers. So much happens and yet many things are still not resolved. I know that some readers are not fans of the Serial Novel format, but because of the serial format, I feel like these characters are my friends. It's not that I've been reading about them over a long period of time, it's because I've been exposed to them frequently and almost continuously as the books are released 3-5 weeks apart. I am emotionally invested in the well being and happiness of Sean and Avery. Well played Mrs. Ward, well played!

H.M. Ward is a phenomenal author. Her books are dark and emotional and all about people overcoming the crap-hand that's been dealt them. Aside from the excellent books, she is also very passionate about her fans. She (and her hubby) are very responsive on Holly's Facebook page. Read the books, like the FB page and enjoy.

My suggested reading order for these books is slightly different from what Maryse has on her AWESOME blog, but I'm listing in release order which is the order I read them in...

(Small disclaimer: I really think you should read the Trystan Scott Novels before you begin Damaged, they are more YA/NA and not necessary to the Arrangement/Damaged stories, but we meet an older Trystan later on in the series so it is nice to have his back story...Plus his book will be out this winter and you absolutely MUST read it before that one.)
