Review: Exposed: Just One Night Part 2

Exposed (Just One Night, #2)Exposed by Kyra Davis

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Exposed by Kyra Davis is the second of three parts in the Just One Night series. This book picks up right where the first book left off. Kasie has been discovered and David is highly upset. Robert does not know what happened, why Kasie just walked away from him and off his yacht without a word.

Betrayal is ugly and Kasie has betrayed her fiancee David in the worst possible way, with mind, body and spirit.

His fury and hate is something she has never seen nor expected from him. How can she possibly make this better? She not only will lose the man she has spent the last six years with, but her reputation and possibly/probably her career too.

ELEVEN DAYS AGO I met a man with strong, beautiful arms and salt-and-pepper hair. Robert Dade. We were in Vegas and he bought my attention with a smile. We talked, first at a blackjack table, then at a bar, and later in his hotel room.
-Kasie

“We’re not over,” he says and I respond with a moan. “Did you think we were? Do you think I can’t see the invitation in your smile, in the way you shiver just slightly when I get near? You think I can’t hear it in the quiet that comes when you can’t quite get yourself to deliver the scripted denial or well-wrought protest? I can read your body like a blind man reads brail.”
-Robert
