Kirstin's Review: Assassins #4: Blue Lines

Blue Lines (Assassins, #4)Blue Lines by Toni Aleo

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kirstin's Review:

Blue Lines by Toni Aleo is the fourth full-length book in the Assassins series.

Blue Lines (Assassins #4)
Erik Titov is the hot, emotionally scarred hockey player who has no desire to leave his manwhoring ways behind him in order to make a commitment. After all, he is the survivor of an abusive childhood, so having a family is the last thing he ever plans to do.

Piper Allen is the hot little firecracker who has been in love with Erik since the first time she met him as her new brother-in-law.

Unfortunately for the two of them, one hot night of lusty sex results in two blue lines and one missed period... Surprise! Piper and Erik are going to have a baby! Or at least Piper is going to have a baby. Whether or not Erik wants to be part of the picture is another story. That is where the emotional angst begins since it takes Erik forever to get his head out of his butt and realize what kind of future he is throwing away by refusing to accept Piper's love.

Fortunately for us, this is a romance novel, so....I'm sure you can figure out how it all plays out in the end.

If you are looking for an emotionally charged romance with some steamy flashbacks and future encounters, then this is the book for you!

Personally, I can't wait for the next book in the Nashville Assassins series!
