Review: Snowed Over by Angie Stanton

Snowed OverSnowed Over by Angie Stanton

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Snowed Over by Angie Stanton is a cute Winter novella about family, love, and change how they don't always mix well, even at Christmas.
Snowed Over
Katie Brandt is a college freshman hitching a ride to the Middle of Freakin' Nowhere, Wisconsin to meet up with her mom, younger sister, and her mom's "not the boyfriend". Relying on her roommate's brother's housemate for a ride, she didn't even know the guy she was about to spend the next five hours riding with in a tiny blue pickup. Top all that off, he's late and it's freezing. Not a great beginning...

Alex Walker does NOT want to go home but at least he's got a pretty girl to keep him company for the ride. He's done everything he can to break off his doomed engagement but Trina just won't take a hint. Of course, the weather starts to take a massive turn for the worse and Alex is doing everything he can to stay on the icy, snowy roads. How can the weather forecasters be quite so very wrong?!?!

So when calamity hits and leaves these two total strangers stranded in the winter storm will their struggles bring them closer or will they part as much strangers as when they met?

If you are in the mood for a sweet, short romance then I highly recommend this. The heat factor is only at a Keep Warm setting so worries about blushing inappropriately in public.
I enjoyed Katie and Alex and their story - I hope you do too.

About The Author:

Angie Stanton never planned on writing books—she wanted to be a Rockette. However, growing up in rural America with her brothers’ 4-H pigs as pets, she found that dance didn’t quite work out. Instead, she became an avid daydreamer. After years of perfecting stories in her head, she began to write them down, and the rest is history. When not writing, she loves watching natural disaster movies, going to Broadway musicals, and dipping French fries in chocolate shakes.

Best selling books by Angie include Rock and a Hard Place, Snapshot, Dream Chaser, Snowed Over and Love ‘em or Leave ‘em. All are contemporary romances.

Angie’s next release is titled Royally Lost and releases on May 6, 2014. Stay tuned for more info.
