The twist in this story is that the love of Spike's life was Ciara. And Ciara's best friend was Spike. The wife and sister was Cheyenne, who died as the result of a drug deal gone bad between bikers.
The question is, can Spike and Ciara overcome their past, which includes their undisclosed attraction for each other and the guilt they both share over Cheyenne's death? And will they be able to find their way back together, where they should have been all along if they hadn't been so afraid of admitting the feelings they both had for each other all those years ago?
