Promotional Blitz: The Fine Line by Alicia Kobishop

The Fine Line

About The Book:

Title: The Fine Line
Author: Alicia Kobishop
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

High school senior Liv Evans has one rule: No attachments. She’s lost enough in her life and has vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure she never again feels the emptiness of losing someone she loves. Boys are a fun distraction, but a serious relationship is something she’d rather live without. Her determination for a future free of pain and heartbreak is put to the test when she meets–and quickly forms an unexpected bond–with Logan Tanner.

Logan has always been a free spirit, but ever since a life-changing event took place, which left him doubting the integrity of those who are closest to him, he’s taken that term to a whole new dangerous level. Learning the hard way that life is too short for worries or work–and that women can’t be trusted–Logan has exchanged steady work for street racing. When Liv walks into his world, everything he thought he knew about life and women is challenged.

In The Fine Line, Liv and Logan will discover if it’s possible for true love to have a future, or if history is destined to repeat itself.

About The Author:

Alicia Kobishop, who was born, raised, and currently resides in the greater Milwaukee, WI area, is a happily married mother of 2 young children. Her formal employment history lies mostly in the area of administrative health care, and medical billing. She is the author of The Fine Line, a new adult contemporary romance.

That was the boring bio (although talking in the third person is kinda cool). Here’s the fun one:

As a child, my bookshelves were stocked full with the likes of Encyclopedia Jones, The Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley Twins/High, and everything V.C. Andrews. Anytime I had a free moment, my nose would be in a book. Then something happened. I became a teenager. A teenager who liked to take risks, and who loved to have fun. To put it mildly, books were no longer a priority.

After high school I entered the “real-world” immediately, finding full time work at a local hospital, and I’ve been in administrative healthcare ever since. Although I tried to pick up a book here and there, I always found it difficult to get pulled into the stories with my mind on all the daily things that needed to “get done.”

In early 2013, I finally put an end to my (never-ending) no-books-rut and began reading again. And when I say “reading,” I mean devouring. I started reading 3 books per week which is a lot for a person who hadn’t read a book in years. I reconnected with the young girl in me who spent so much time lost in a fantasy world.  I’ve done some “soul-searching” in the last year and I’ve tried many new things including acting (click here for more info on that), and most importantly, writing.

I have found a passion for writing that I never knew I had until recently. I am so grateful for the people who nudged me to give it a try because when I write, I feel excited, enthusiastic, and driven (and borderline OCD…but I’m ok with that). Putting my daydreams, thoughts, and ideas onto paper is liberating.
