My rating: 4 of 5 starsMy Real by Mallory Grant is a beautiful tale of secret love and how if it's meant to be it will eventually be.
It took twelve years and two divorces for Bailey and Andrew to have their chance at love.
The book opens in college, with Andrew fixated on Bailey from across the room but unhappily for them both, Bailey's bestie Jessica has eyes for Andrew. Bailey knows that if Jessica wants something it's hers so the three of them end up becoming best friends, Bailey the third-wheel to Andrew and Jessica's relationship.
Some major drama happens right before graduation and when Jessica starts her job as a third-grade teacher she is distraught (still) over the loss of her best friend. Thankfully a much more worthy person steps in and becomes Baileys true friend, Ella.
A super cute love story that will leaving you feeling all warm and fluffy by the end.
