Their wishes were simple and modest. Fate had other things in store though, and she can be a real bitch sometimes.

- All he wanted was to get the job done and somehow to endure those long months playing nanny to a spoiled little rich girl. Without strangling her with his bare hands in the process. Well, it is going to be much easier said than done.

- All she wanted was to escape the past and live like any other nineteen-year-old girl. Her plan definitely didn’t include the arrogant, tattooed savage, with his awful mohawk hair and lack of social graces, whose only mission was to stick real close and mess up her life.

But, people aren't always what they seem to be, are they?

Playlist:

1 - I love this song. It’s so full of sorrow that my heart breaks in two every time I hear it. I spent hours replaying it while I was writing the last chapters of Perfect Opposite.
Poets Of The Fall - Where Do We Draw The Line - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZnpCnqXvEM

2 - One of “Perfect Opposite” chapters has the same title, so :
Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UVNT4wvIGY

3 - This one reminds me of my first “true love”. I was 18 and completely devastated when we broke up. I got wasted and spent the whole weekend in my room, crying my eyes out. POS is one of my favorite bands, definitely.
Pain Of Salvation - Second Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFxCBnPnwo0

4 - One and only. Adele.
Adele - Set Fire to the Rain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlsBObg-1BQ

5 - Great song from Man On Fire OST. When I listen to music, I usually focus on the melody rather than words. In this case it was impossible. I choose the video with English lyrics, but original version is much better. Every time I hear this melody it reminds me of a scene ( chapter 13) when Sasha and Alex are sitting in the dark hallway.
Carlos Varela - Una Palabra - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3tB82dGhSA

6 - The scene at the club in Chapter 4. Oh, I will never forgive myself for not going to their concert last year.
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cG4QF_UK2r4

7 - Sasha is playing this one in Chapter 11.
Billy Idol - White Wedding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLjE-2_Luaw

8 - The only way to live forever is to be remembered. Another OST, this time from Troy.
Remember Me - Josh Groban - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLq6t1sFIIA

9 - Sasha’s song

10 - Every time I hear his voice I feel this incredible tenderness, like I want to hug the whole world.
James Morrison - Broken Strings ft. Nelly Furtado http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26PAgklYYvo

11 - This one reminds me of Alex. And the way Caleb sings... it’s so filled with emotion.

12 - To cheer up a little – The last one - Bet’s song :

About the Author:

A teenager in an adult’s body. A rebel in the guise of an ordinary citizen. A lady with very unladylike language. A dreamer with a rational mind. A woman born into the wrong era, she still believes that chivalry’s a feat to define the perfect man.

Zoya spent years doing volunteering work all across Europe, from cleaning school basements in Northern Russia to excavating Stone Age artifacts in Euskadi (the Basque country) and renovating castles from the middle ages in Southern France. She always dreamed of working with ‘Doctors without borders’ somewhere out in Africa, but ended up doing an ‘ordinary job’.

Her greatest passion is devouring each and every book that comes within her reach.
