My rating: 4 of 5 starsLean On Me by Nicola Haken is the third book in her Take My Hand series. This book does not continue with Emily and Dexter's story from the first two books as you may think, instead, it takes place roughly during the same time as Book two (Hold On Tight) and focuses on their friends back in the UK, Jared and Rachel.
While Emily and Dexter are away their two best friends will play - with each other in all meanings of the phrase (wink wink). All innuendo aside, they begin spending a lot of time with each other and get very close. Things, however, get complicated when the line between friendship and more is blurred.
These two characters have been endearing in their own right in the first two books in the series and the manner in which the author has brought their story to life is fantastic. You will laugh, you will soon, and if you're not completely heartless you may even cry.
