My Reviews:

If I Were You (Inside Out, #1)My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones is the first book in the Inside Out Trilogy. After a slow start, this book picks up speed, and steam, as soon as Chris and Mark make their appearance.

Sarah's concern for the safety of Rebeccah is touching. Her passion for art almost rivals the passion the Chris ignites in her soul. But there is a dark secret waiting to be revealed. What was Rebeccah into? How is the art gallery involved?

I love when authors/books introduce you to songs or bands you haven't heard before. I am loving Broken and Nerve Damage by Lifehouse.

Audible Audiobook "Review: Inside Out Trilogy #1: If I Were You"
Would you listen to If I Were You again? Why?

If there was a large gap between reading the novels I might. This is already my second time reading this story.

What did you like best about this story?
I like the tension between Sarah and Chris. They both are really into each other but they have so many walls up around themselves they struggle to get close.

What about Grace Grant’s performance did you like?
I really enjoy listening to Grace Grant. She has narrated the majority of the last few books I have listened to. I would definitely listen to her again.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book keeps you on edge, almost constantly. You have no clue what happened to Rebecca, you don't know if Sarah is in danger or just paranoid.

May the odds be ever in your favor, and mine as well.-Mark

I sink down into the seat, and watch him walk toward the massive open kitchen overlooking the living area, and he is all long-legged, male grace and flexing muscle.
-Sarah on the male beauty of Chris

"It’s not about making you feel better. It’s about the truth. Sara, baby,” he strokes my cheek, “this ‘crazy’ thing you’re making me feel is the best crazy I’ve felt in a long time. I’m not ready to let go of you. I don’t know what you’re doing to me, Sara, but please…don’t stop."
-Chris

Being Me (Inside Out, #2) My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being Me by Lisa Renee Jones is the second book in the Inside Out Trilogy.

Holy flipping cow! When things heat up, or when the proverbial poop hits the fan...Lisa Renee Jones will absolutely not disappoint. Wow! I am so glad I have a galley copy of book three...I know it's out in a couple of weeks, but what on earth is in France? I must know. But I enjoy the audiobook versions so much I may wait anyway. Grace Grant is a fantastic performer! Decisions, decisions!"

Audible Audiobook "Review: Inside Out Trilogy #2: Being Me"
What made the experience of listening to Being Me the most enjoyable?

Grace Grant's performance. This is the 6th book I have listened to her perform and have started to choose which book on my to read list is next based on if she's the narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?
Chris - I really like Chris. He's so caring and sweet yet damaged and dark. It's a quirky combo.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
All of Grace's performances are stellar. This one is probably one of my favorites, right next to Beautiful Bastard.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I had enough time to spare, then yes I would have liked to listen to it all as fast as my ears could hear it. This 2nd book of the trilogy is packed tight with drama, emotion, twists and WTF moments!

Suddenly, he is in front of me, towering above me. I feel him in every pore of my existence even before I dare to lift my gaze to his. I know what I must do but I am scared. I told him I wasn’t.
I told myself I wasn’t. But I am.
- Sarah

I have never felt as part of a man as I do in that moment. Never felt so a part of another human being. I do not know what to do with the emotions inside me. I do not know how to be this close to someone and still hold on to myself.

Revealing Us (Inside Out #3)My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Revealing Us by Lisa Renee Jones is the third book in her Inside Out series. We pick up the story immediately after the dramatic ending in book two. Chris has pulled away from Sara and hauled but to Paris. He's given her an ultimatum - come to Paris and be with him, or don't and they're over.

There are still many secrets that Chris is keeping and we start to wonder if he'll ever share his darkness with Sara. Does he trust her enough to look past his secrets?

While in Paris Sara starts the search up again for her best friend, Elle, that ran off to elope and hasn't been heard from since.

Secrets are revealed, motives are blurred and danger lurks around almost every beautiful corner of Paris.

His Secrets (Inside Out, #3.1) My rating: 5 of 5 stars

His Secrets by Lisa Renee Jones is a novella book told from Chris' point of view and takes place shortly before Sarah and Chris leave France to head back to San Fransisco.

It only makes sense to read this if you HAVE read books 1 through 3 in the series. It paves the way for the upcoming books in the series, and let's be honest, who doesn't want to hear more from Chris?

A short, must-read that packs a punch and will leave you eagerly awaiting the next installment in this amazing series.

Can Chris and Sarah find the perfect balance between his darkness and her willingness to stand by him?
