Indiscretion: Volume One by Elisabeth Grace is the first volume in her serial Indiscretion. From the blurb I was fully expecting a player and a woman open to one night stands. What I got was a pleasantly different scenario.
Chloe is out with her friends in New York in celebration of her best friends approaching wedding. Having lived her recent life single and taking care of her younger sister who is now heading off to college her friend Jackie believes it is way past time for Chloe to get a life and get laid. This is where Max comes into the picture. The hot guy she notices across the club and can't help making eye contact with.
Max is enamored with Chloe even before he gets her into a private room for a private conversation - with her lady parts!!!! (Sorry, couldn't resist) So they have a moment together in this private room at the club and when Max leaves briefly Chloe hauls butt and runs. She figures she'll never see him again and now she has some hot memories to relive for a good while.
Well, we all know the story doesn't end there. Both these characters have issues but sparks fly every time they're together. Ending on a wicked cliffhanger involving, well, I can't tell you, spoilers and all...but it's GOOD! Eagerly anticipating book 2, Indiscretion: Volume Two.
