Strip Back by Ava Manello is a novella length origins story in her Naked Nights series.
We had previously met Eric as the owner and operator of the Naked Nights striptease show in the first full-length series book, Strip Teaser. This takes us back to the beginning. Back to when Naked Nights was a vague idea in Eric's head and when helices is job to a much worse but much younger dancer he decides that the industry needs some class and some skill infused into it and puts together his own show.
In the process Eric falls madly in love with Christy, an American trauma nurse here for a few short months. The story is well written, the characters deep and the writing style of Ava Manello just gets better with every book.
I cannot wait to see where she takes this series next and I'm really hoping it's going to be more of Eric and Christy.
