About The Book:
Title: Me Tarzan -- You Jane
Author: Camelia Miron Skiba
Genre: Adult Contemporary
Release Date: December 2014
Widowed makeup artist Jane Sullivan is more comfortable keeping her husband’s memory alive than dating a pool full of sharks. Ella, her 4 year-old daughter, is her whole world.
When Jane meets Lucas Oliver, famous cover model, it’s hate at first sight. His playboy persona rubs her the wrong way.
Accustomed to every woman fawning over him, Lucas is drawn to the shy, uncompromising single mom and completely melts at the sight of Ella. He is determined to convince Jane that sometimes a second chance can mend a broken heart.
My Review:
Me Tarzan -- You Jane by Camelia Miron Skiba
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Me Tarzan -- You Jane by Camelia Miron Skiba is a quirky clean-ish romance that was more than I expected. More story, more emotion, more awesome, just more.
The story was not what I expected, even having read the synopsis. Every time I thought I knew where it was going I was so pleasantly surprised by the turn it took.
Jane is a widowed single mother of a beautiful four year old girl. She is a much sought after make-up artist and she is also an aspiring writer.
Lucas is a model turned entrepreneur. He is popular, gorgeous, sought after and the bane of Jane's existence.
So how do these two people go from REALLY not getting along to being the focus of this romance? Silly rabbit, I'm not going to spill those beans. You'll have to read for yourself. Just be prepared for hot cover models, late night parties, romantic Paris tours, and chemistry - Lots and lots of chemistry (not the labratory kind).

About The Author:
I WRITE. I LIVE. I LOVE. I DREAM. I WRITE.
I’m a dreamer
I’m a sinner
I love my books
I conjure hooks
And heroes with good looks
Romance is my guilty pleasure
Taking me to places with new decor
Come join me if you dare
I promise not to bore
If you like to read my stories
Pray my husband continues snorin’
For he’s the one who keeps me up at night
When I give my heroes wings and flight.
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThank you so so much for the stellar review and for hosting Me Tarzan--You Jane on your blog. The last sentence of your review made me smile; not laboratory chemistry, hahaha! Sun and smiles sent your way from Arizona although you must have lots of sun yourself living in Florida. :)
Usually yes - lots of sun, but today it is wicked cold (with sun). Loved the book. Thanks for the opportunity to review :-D
