Review: New Year in Manhattan
New Year in Manhattan by Louise Bay is the third and final book in her Empire State Series.
We left Anna and Ethan with him headed back to New York and her staying in London. Business in New York needed his attention and there was no choice in the mater. He had to go and attend to his clients needs in New York. Theya re both devastated and make a plan and a promise to speak every day, plan each visit so they always know exactly when they will see ach other next and Skype as much as possible.
With distance, the doubts start to creep in. Not bug ones, but enough to have each of them questioning at different times what will happen to their relationship.
Will Anna make the move to New York or will Ethan agree to make the move to London? Marriage has never been something Anna wanted but Ethan is definitely the type to want to show the world they belong together.
Will Anna's New Years visit with Ethan in New York be enough to keep them going or will the doubts grow too large for both of them?

Autumn in London is the second part of The Empire State Series, a series of three novellas.
My Review:
My rating: 5 of 5 starsAutumn in London by Louise Bay is the second book in her Empire State Trilogy. Louise Bay is a powerhouse writer and is now one of a few authors on my auto-read list. The characters are rich and deep, the heat between them is tangible and smoking hot.
Anna is back in London and still trying to reconcile her everyday life with her one amazing week with Ethan. She's worried about her job, ready to move out of her flat that was robbed before her New York trip thanks to her crappy ex-boyfriend.
Ethan is working non-stop in an effort to keep his mind off Anna and now he's headed to London to handle the "Merger" for the law firm he works for. He is trying to decide if he should find her while he's in London or leave it to fate.
It turns out that neither one will have to wait too long for fate to intervene once again in their lives. I really am so impatient to see where and how this story plays out. I can't get enough of Ethan and Anna. LOVED IT!

Title: Week in New York

A sexy, romantic fiction novella series
Each novella is around 30k words
Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.
A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.
Super-successful serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.
It should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.
A Week in New York is the first in a series of three novellas.
My Review:
A Week in New York by Louise Bay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A Week in New York by Louise Bay is the first book in her new Empire State Trilogy. A weeks vacation from London is just what Anna needs to get over the latest in a long line of disappointing boyfriends. She escapes to New York with best friend who is accompanying her fiancee while he's in town for business. Their first night there Anna is propositioned by Ethan and despite being interested she comes up with some rules for him. He agrees or goes away. Little does she know, Ethan is all about the rules. The no all-nighters, no repeats, no numbers, no morning sex. EXCEPT, they both make the other one WANT to break the rules. What could possibly happen in a week though? It's not like they'll discover they're the loves of their lives and want to live happily ever after, right? RIGHT? We can only hope...
Anna and Ethan are insatiable. One Week in New York will pull you in and leave you gasping for more. Louise Bay weaves a fabulous story filled with steamy scenes, passionate moments and some butterfly causing romantic moments too. I cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on the next book, Autumn in London.

About The Author:
I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels - the kind I like to read!
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.
I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
