Penelope Ward is a must read author for me. I have loved all of her books, but Jake Undone was one of my favorites.
This is the book that follows Jake Undone. It gives Jake's perspective on how he and Nina met and fell in love by flashing back to the beginning, while also continuing their story.
So, first read Jake Undone to appreciate the emotional roller-coaster that Nina goes through while building a relationship with the mysterious, hot, tattooed Jake. Then read Jake Understood to fully understand the emotional turmoil that Jake went through while dealing with his guilt and prior responsibilities as he fell in love with Nina.
