Team Lucas by Ally Adams is the first book in her new series The Saints Team. It is told in single POV of Mia - the sassy heroine of the story who gives as good as she gets and takes no crap from anyone, including lucas.
Mia is hired to "mind" Lucas. He had a problem with drugs a while back and now that he is captain of the team, they want him kept sober AND happy. Sober he may be, happy he is not. He is rude and a jerk to Mia and she deals with it. Gives it right back. He's obviously not happy to have someone watching his every move and has the attitude o prove it. Of course, there must be some reason for his deep seated anger, right?
As the story progresses we begin to understand the motivation behind the jerk behavior. But will Mia understand before she writes him off completely?
