Sarah Travers has had a really bad month. First, a drunken night of sex with her best friend – and the secret love of her life – Cameron Scott resulted in him freaking out on her and going MIA. That would have been bad enough but then her boss, a high-powered Hollywood director, cast Cameron as the lead in his new movie and put Sarah in charge of his publicity. On the bright side, it turns out she’s rather good at it - much to the chagrin of the studio’s PR team. Cameron’s back in the picture and he’s made some surprising confessions of his own, taking their relationship from the friend zone to so much more.
Now Sarah and Cameron are forced to deal with how their love for one another impacts their circle of friends and what it means for his career. With pressure from the studio to keep their relationship a secret, the two must figure out how to navigate not only the stresses of any new relationship, but also one under such a strong spotlight.
Our Little Secret, a 23,000-word novella, is installment two in the Her Confessional series.

My Reviews:
Her Confessional: The Making of a Star by Rebecca Norinne Caudill
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Her Confessional: The Making of a Star by Rebecca Norinne Caudill is the first installment in her Confessional serial. I wasn't sure what to expect from this but was beyond intrigued and am glad I picked this to read. Told from Sarah's POV in the style of a journal or (hence the title) confessional, we get the story of her and Cameron. Their friendship, her life before him, how they met, when and how they became friends. She is a strong and confident woman who takes no crap and is very competent at her job, PA to a Hollywood movie director, and also loves art and paints.
For such a short story it was well-paced and very well written. I definitely cannot wait to sink my teeth into the next installment, Her Confessional: Our Little Secret.

Her Confessional: Our Little Secret by Rebecca Norinne Caudill
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Her Confessional: Our Little Secret by Rebecca Norinne Caudill is the second installment in her Confessional serial. Picking up immediately where book one leaves off.
After a month of barely speaking following an awkward drunk coupling, Cameron has just landed the role that will make his acting career and finally has come to talk to Sarah to get their acts together and resume their friendship and hash out their one night o'passion. They reconcile (cough, cough) and then head back to her place and this is where we pick back up. It's the morning after they reconnect and while they are now speaking, there are many unresolved issues.
Cameron's career is about to take off, Sarah is still slightly resentful of the month she spent heartbroken over him keeping his distance, and then she worries that in the light of day he will again think better of his choice to be with someone like her. While she doesn't normally view her short and plus-sized self as anything other than capable, beautiful and confident, Cameron's impending fame is putting a damper on her vision of their future relationship.
So when he proposes... Yeah - They go from besties to engaged at the drop of the hat and have to work out all the in-betweens they missed by skipping a few steps. His love for her is genuine as is hers for him. But can that love withstand against the fame and the media? Read on... you won't regret it.
