Home to You by Taylor Sullivan is a debut novel and the first book in her Suspicious Hearts series. An enjoyable read with good pacing, some laugh-out-loud moments and some misty eyed ones too.
Katie has been in love with Jake, her brothers best friend for years. Jake has always seemed to see her as a little sister. Katie eventually moves on and moves away, but when a cheating boyfriend has her saying "Enough is enough" and going back home, it's Jake she turns to.
Told from only Katie's POV, Jake's feelings are shrouded in mystery and we are left wondering as much as Katie is. With dramatic moments filled with misunderstanding and malicious deceit the book definitely has the Happy Ever After most romance readers look for.
An enjoyable read and I would definitely like to read more from this author.
