Savannah left Maple Cover, Georgia in her rearview after getting her heart broken. She has been back once in the handful of years she has been gone (for her father's funeral) and is back once more for her mother's funeral. She is heart-broken over her loss and determined to get their family B&B back on it's feet.
Logan has always loved Savannah. When his best friend Will began dating her in high school Logan knew Will was more worthy of her then he could ever be. With a bit of distance and sarcasm he managed to keep his true feelings for Savannah hidden for the most part. Ever since Will died in combat, a death Logan feels responsible for, Logan has tried to make of himself and his life everything Will lost the chance to. When he ends up back in Maple Cover looking to buy the B&B for his firm he doesn't expect the battle of wills to come or the tancity that Savannah has for her childhood home and family legacy.
Second chance romance - the angst you feel at the lost time and missed opportunities coupled with the rekindling of that love that will make you swoon. A very enjoyable read.
