Steal Me by Lauren Layne is the second book in her latest series New York's Finest. We meet another member of the Moretti clan, this time Anthony. His ambitions to make Police Commissioner are well on their way, he was recently promoted to Captain in the NYPD and the latest case has him getting in more one-on one time with the striking waitress at the diner he frequents. Maggie is a hot mess any time Anthony Moretti comes around - his hotness is just too distracting but when he comes in with a sketch of suspect that looks very much like her ex-husband these two find themselves spending way more time together. Sparks fly between these two from smoking sexual tension to witty banter. Lauren Layne's books never disappoint - well developed characters, meaningful dialogue, and great story lines. I cannot wait for the next book... Cuff Me.
