“Just—Just get in the shower,” he mutters, pulling back the shower curtain.
“Why are you doing all this?”
A pensive look crosses his face. “All of what?”
“This!” I wave my hands around. “Holding that nice old couple at gunpoint, in here with me. All of it?”
His eyes rake over me, and he shrugs. “So you could shower.”
“So you kidnapped a little old couple so I could shower?”
“Yep!”
It’s wrong, so wrong. Yet, I feel my chest tighten with longing and adoration. I like it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I can’t help my attraction to him. His stare is cold, his calloused hands rough, but his draw is soft and alluring.
“You going to get in?” He flicks a brow at me.

Mercy by M.N. Forgy is the second book in her new Sin City Outlaws series. It picks up IMMEDIATELY where book one, Reign left off. In case you were wondering, it was right in the middle of the biggest shit-storm in the history of ever. Zeek and Jillian are now on the run from his uncle, his MC, and the law ...A N D... Jillian just witnessed Zeek murder her father. Yeah, that happened.
The thing I love about MC books is that it makes it okay to love these law-breaking 1%-ers. Zeek is a tough guy with no emotional ties who is changing to better match Jillian. Jillian is a Deputy sheriff, law-abiding, good person (who is also tough as nails) and she is also changing. She is beginning to see that things are never black and white, there is a whole gamut of grey in between and that line she has refused to cross is getting more blurred with each day with Zeek.
Another fantastically emotional and gritty read from M.N. Forgy and one I highly recommend to any lover of MC stories or bad boys in general.
