Spectacular Rascal by Lili Valente is the second stand alone novel in her new non-series series that spins off from Magnificent Bastard. Magnificent Bastard is the consulting company owned by Bash that now employs his best friend, Aidan, as a Spectacular Rascal. Aidan is the tattooed, muscled, bad boy looking guy that women can hire to intimidate their stalkerish, obsessive, not-getting it ex to finally leave them alone. One look at Aidan and they are well and truly intimidated. Never mind that he is totally a lover not a fighter and only looks rough :-D
When he is employed to intimidate the ex of one client it turns out she is a face from his past and that's only the first way in which things get wicked complicated super fast. Cat's ex is a mob crime lord with no problem disappearing people and he has an unhealthy obsession with Cat. The past friendship of Aidan and cat keeps them together while on the run from the mob and when danger catches up, all bets are off.
Loved it - well paced (as always) with hilarious characters that are heartwarming and endearing and some sexy times that will quite possibly overheat your kindle!
