Before I Ever Met You by Karina Halle is a beautiful stand alone romance. It is about William McAlister and Jackie Phillips. William is a divorced 41 year old VP of Mad Men Studios. His business partner and President of the company is none other than 25 year old Jackie's father. This story may sound slightly taboo or forbidden with the 16 year age gap (depending on your prude level) but it is so wonderfully handled throughout the entirety of the story. William is a book-boyfriend for the record books and Jackie is a strong and independent, although sometimes too stubborn female who is just as lucky to have him as he is to have her. The steam level is phenomenal but the story isn't about the sex (or love-making) it is most definitely about romance and the love story. The peripheral characters are wonderful too. I loved this and I hope you do too! Enjoy!
