Lovestruck by Lila Monroe is a standalone romantic comedy that is almost a second chance romance had it ever gotten off the ground the first time around. It is quirky and funny, sexy and a little angsty, and an absolute pleasure to read.
Ruby and Will had the best of friendships in college. They both embraced their inner nerd and worked well together, his organized yin to her "winging-it" yang. When she drunkenly bares her feelings to him in a letter and later discovers him laughing about the letter in front of his frat brothers. Fast forward a few years and it turns out he is part of the grooms party to her besties bridal party and they're stuck in a luxury vacation resort for a week, together.
Well-written, well-paced, enough drama to keep it interesting but also light enough to be a happy read with some definite laugh out loud moments. I love this authors work. Enjoy!
