My Review

Savage (The Kingwood Duet, #1)Savage by S.L. Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Savage by S.L. Scott is the first book in her brand new Kingwood Duet . It ends on a cliffhanger and is told in dual POV between Sarah Jane and Alexander Kingwood this story is about family, how dangerous they can be and how sometimes family is what you make it and has nothing to do with blood.

Sarah Jane is an innocent compared to Alexander but together they bring out the best and the strongest in each other. Alexander met Sarah Jane on a fateful day in his life and has seen her as his light and love ever since. Knowing he has the power to break her he does everything he can to prevent that happening.

Ending on a wicked cliffhanger this book was intriguing. It didn't get a full five stars as I felt as though I couldn't fully immerse myself for the first half of the book. As the intrigue built and the plot thickened I found myself more and more involved. I will most DEFINITELY be reading book two, Savior and cannot wait for it to come out. Enjoy!
