The Thing About Love by Kim Karr is a sexy standalone with a strongly emotional undercurrent. Told in dual POV this book would have been wonderful without the deep connection these two characters find they have with each other, but WITH it? It was phenomenal. Jake and Jules are instantly attracted to each other until a misunderstanding puts them at odds with each other. When Jules learns that in order to keep the dream wedding planning job she has no choice but to work with Jake things get tricky.
Each part of their story was told with precision and each reveal and special moment was planned and paced perfectly. The story is a large amount of laugh out loud moments and HOT sexy times, but there are also some honest and deep tear inducing moments that add another layer to the characters depth. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
