Under the Lights by Tia Louise is the first book in her brand new Bright Lights Duet . Told in dual POV, this story of love in a Burlesque theater in New Orleans is deep, enigmatic and will draw you deep into the underbelly of the Big easy.
Mark is on his own. No family, no prospects and in desperate need for a place to live and a job. When he is hired at a burlesque theater he meets Lara and is instantly enamored by her beauty and innocence.
Lara may work at the burlesque as a dancer but she has managed to not yet have to strip unlike all the other dancers. Her beautiful singing voice is part of that reason. Meeting Mark is the first step in broadening her world beyond that of the theater.
The story is a slow build of intrigue, danger, loss and love in New Orleans. Ending on a cliffhanger that leaves the reader beyond desperate for more. The conclusion, Under the Stars, is scheduled to release on January 22, 2018. Enjoy!
