One Last Time by Corinne Michaels is the second book surrounding the band of best friends and the members of the boy-band Four Doors Down. We met Eli Walsh in We Own Tonight, lead singer of FBD turned actor. Here we get to know a lot more about his television co-star Noah Frazier and Heather's best friend Kristin. This book is told in dual POV between Noah and Kristin and we follow them through Kristin's separation and divorce, their first meeting, the intricacies of dating while recently divorced and learning how to navigate the minefield of dating a woman with children.
Emotionally engaging, well-written and well-paced this was another phenomenal story from a must-read author for me. Difficult topics are handled with grace and dignity and realistic humor. Sometimes it's gallows humor, but humor nonetheless. Loved it! Enjoy!
