I Dare You by Ilsa Madden-Mills is the first book in her new series, The Hook Up . A college romance between the hot football player and the beautiful nerd girl this story is told in dual POV, with angst and romance and steam. It was absolutely wonderful!
Delaney is getting random texts from an unknown number. She has no idea who the guy is on the other end of the message but the flirting back and forth escalates. Meanwhile, now that she has broken up with her boyfriend since Freshman year she is running into Maverick Monroe. He is the best football player at the college and also the hottest. Never mind that he was her first college kiss freshman year - one she never did forget...
Maverick is determined to get the girl. He has had his eyes on her since freshman year but then his teammate swooped in and she was off limits. Of course when he messed up and cheated, that left an opportunity for Maverick to woo Delaney in a way her nerd-girl heart would truly appreciate.
