Dead Pretty by Samantha Towle is a standalone dark suspense story with a romantic thriller, be ready for the twist! Told in almost completely single POV from the perspective of Audrey Hayes, a quiet librarian who keeps to herself and has a troubled past. The meat of the story is the budding romance between two loners, Audrey & Jack, the chemistry between them is on fire, burn your kindle, crazy hot. By the time you finish this book you will have been shaken out of any book stupor you may have found yourself in and will be seriously wondering, in the best and most flabbergasted way, "What did I just read? And is really going to end like that?"!
I haven't read a book from Samantha Towle since The Mighty Storm, as a blogger for the past few years, 99% of what I read is ARCs, I was fortunate enough to snag one for this book and honestly fully expected another well-written and well-paced romance of some kind, and while I did get that, Dead Pretty comes with so much more. Loved it! Enjoy!
