A sideways move from Twilight, House of Night focuses on Vampires in the Teenage world. These vampires, however, are known and marked and attend their own schools. As this series falls under Young Adult, it does not have the heat of the Black Dagger Brotherhood etc, but I still enjoyed it very much. Although the first audiobook narrator was a little hard to deal with.
