Review: Hopeless #1: Hopeless

Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover is the first book in the Hopeless series. This book is the story of how Sky met and fell in love with Holder, of secrets (his and hers) and how revealing them is more painful than any one of them imagined.

Hopeless (Hopeless #1)
A beautiful story with a devastatingly painful twist, this book will draw you in and keep you guessing along with your characters all the way until the reveal. This was light-hearted and funny in parts and heart-breaking in others. Sky is quirky and different and Holder is misunderstood and deeper than most people are aware.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even with all the angst. Just be prepared with tissues and chocolate when reading, there will be a few spots you'll need both.

This is definitely a must read for any romance/new adult reader.

Fuck all the firsts, Sky. The only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers.
-Holden

He pulls me to him and I let him. He feels safe. He feels like home when I’m wrapped up in him. He holds me and rubs my back, kissing the side of my head every now and then. He keeps saying, “Don’t worry,” over and over and he holds me for what feels like forever.

-Sky

The Second book, Losing Hope, is from Holder's point of view.

And then...If you wanna hear about Daniel and his "Cinderella" (AKA Six)...Their novella is now available...
