The truth will always find its way out.
Carlene Adams' new life has been an illusion, her new-found joy just for rent. The life she craves can't really belong to a girl who's responsible for someone's death.
Her greatest fear has been realized. Nick Johnson, her second chance at love, has discovered her true identity and disappeared from her life.
She will need to find a way to move on without Nick. But the memories of their time together haunt her relentlessly. As Serendipity's Business Man of the Year, his face is everywhere—in magazines, on the television screen, behind her eyelids. Soon, her life spirals out of control and she finds herself further away from her dreams.
But Carlene is good at hiding from the past. She's done it once before. She can do it again. She can leave her hometown and begin somewhere new. But she can't move on without telling Nick the truth about the life he thinks she took. And everything that came before.

My Review of Entangled Moments (book one):
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Entangled Moments by Dori Lavelle is the first book in the Moments in Time series. It has a cliffhanger ending that will leave you groaning in frustration until the next book is out. You are a wicked woman indeed Dori lavelle. Wicked.
Carlene is just barely keeping it together each day until she meets Nick. They are both paying their respects at a local chapel and he asks her to go for coffee. In a perfectly quaint scenario she has an almost slip and fall and he catches her and leans in to kiss her good and proper in the middle of the coffee shop.
After this inspiring event and with the encouragement of a dear friend, Carlene sets out to come to terms with the tragic past and take slow and steady steps forward.
As the title suggest, the characters in this tale are entangled in each other before they are even aware of the how or why of it.
The book is about 100 pages (i.e. shortish) so the characters develop quickly and events happen steadily. You won't be bored. Romance, a little heat, a whole lot of angst, and a really sweet tale (albeit with a wicked cruel cliffhanger ending)(*groans*).
About The Author:
Dori Lavelle, is a mother, wife, and lover of happy endings and mint chocolate. She thinks love and chocolate make such a perfect pair. Give her a great romance novel with a hint of suspense and a mug of hot chocolate and she'd be one happy woman.
Growing up, Dori read a lot, and when she wasn't happy with a particular ending, she wrote a different one, just for herself. Before long, she was writing stories when she should have been doing homework. The time has come for her to share the stories she cooks up in her head.
Lisa, I had no idea you're also taking part in this tour. Thank you. You're simply awesome. Thanks for making my day.
